Privacy policy

AlgoSignals is an email service. You give us an address, we send you trading signals. Everything below follows from that, and nothing here is written to make a smaller collection sound bigger or a larger one sound smaller — it was written by reading our own code.
Who we are
Algo Signals Finance operates this site and the signal emails. For anything about your data, write to info@algosignals.finance and a person will answer.
What we collect, and why

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by confirming your address — we do not add anyone to the list without that click, and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
Email measurement, and how to switch it off
Since 23 August 2026 our emails carry a small invisible image and links that pass through our own site before reaching their destination. When one loads or is clicked we record that it happened, which email it was, how long after we sent it, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address with the last part removed— enough to tell an inbox provider's image proxy from a real reader, not enough to identify you. This is all first-party: nothing is shared with an advertising network, and no profile follows you anywhere else.
If you would rather we did not, untick the measurement box on /manage. We then send you plain emails with no pixel and no wrapped links. Your signals are exactly the same either way.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. Two cookies exist, both strictly necessary and both first-party: as_session, set when you confirm your address so that /manage recognises you for a year without a link, and an admin session cookie that only the site owner ever receives.
We use Vercel Web Analytics for page counts. It is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.
Who else touches it
Three processors, and no one else. Vercel hosts the site. Google Cloud Firestore stores the data. Amazon SES (Ireland) delivers the email. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone for their own purposes.
If you choose to support us, Stripe takes the payment on its own page, under its own privacy policy — we never see your card. Stripe passes us your name, email and the amount, which we keep for as long as Dutch bookkeeping law requires (seven years).
Be aware of where it lives: our database is hosted in the United States, so if you are in the EU or UK your data is transferred there. That transfer relies on Google's standard contractual clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Email delivery itself runs in the EU (Ireland).
How long we keep it
For as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe we keep your record, marked as unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again by accident — we do not treat unsubscribing as a request to erase. If you want it gone, ask, and it is gone.
Your rights
If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable form. Most of it you can also just do yourself: /manage shows and edits what we hold, and every email has an unsubscribe link in it.
For anything else, email info@algosignals.finance. We will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Material changes are announced by email to subscribers.
